I usually just pick them up off of my driveway or walk through the neighborhood picking them up. What i have found to work really good for storing is a large styrofoam cooler. Fill it with the worm bedding, keep it cool and you should be good to go. One trick that i learned was a couple days before going fishing dig some crawlers out and put them in a container with damp shredded newspaper. Make sure most of the paper is wet. The crawlers will absorb that water up and get really big fat and juicy. They look a lot better than when you buy them at the store for the most part. Good luck, and now we just need some warmer weather to get the darn things otta the ground.

I use a combination of Peat Moss(3 scoops), Buss Bedding(3 scoops) & Saw Dust(1.5 scoops).

The saw dust retains the water while the peat and buss bedding keep the crawlers happy.

Which is the way you view them on the wall. Good luck with him!

He looks odd from the side because his main beams are on the short side relatively to the rest. Good to see him alive and good luck!
