I hate it when………..

You check your trail camera and find that other people think they can just wander right into the middle of your 160 acre chunk and take a looksy.

I continue to have problems with Tresspassers and Poachers on this piece. I caught one group last year and have thought to have them at bay, but perhaps more people need to feel the wrath of the law???? I would hate to be the next guy I catch poaching or tresspassing down there.

It is too bad he was not farther away from the cam so I could get a face shot of him. I guess I’m “Lucky” to still have my cam.

Time to dangle some noose’s in front of the sign that says NO TRESPASSING. Subtlety is not one of my strengths…sorry.

The strange thing was this occurrenece happened on 9/14 at 7:11 Pm. Just a few days before the bow season.

Last year I had a very similar Tresspass ocurrence 3 days before the season started.

Coincidence??? I think not, someone trying to push the deer off my property is most like it!

I say you raid the closet of everyone in the area. Not many guys are going to have that nasty salmon colored shirt! He doesn’t look a typical outdoorsman.

Maybe post a ‘Wanted’ poster at the local bar and poke fun a little fun at him!!! It could read…Wanted: Portly trespasser. Loves feminine shirts and long walks on other peoples’ land. Answers to the name of ‘Twinkie’ or ‘Sparkle’.

That should get him going!!!

I know what your saying . I was out two weeks ago checking a couple of stands I set this last June . Found one of them missing it sucks bad. I really don’t understand how any ethical outdoors man would do that or tresspass . Really makes me want to puke

Actually the color is off on the camera but it does look orange at least.

Sorry to hear that. Part of our property is next to a bike path and get pics of people wandering. I would be pretty mad if it happened a couple days before the season too.

Glad to see you still have your cam! Some people seem to think that they can do whatever the heck they want. Others, are just that dumb, and still others would try to drive deer away from your hard work……Too bad you didn’t get a face to go with his great outfit!

Sorry to hear that Rob. I too had the EXACT crap on one of my cams this past w-end but I had 2 people.

No breaks. Nobody gets a break. Punish every offense of trespassing to the fullest possible extent of the law.

You’ll get a name around town, and it will stop, or it won’t and they will get tagged. Either result is good! It takes years of this response to condition the locals, but it works. Good luck!

Not going to lie Rob, I was hoping you weren’t going to show me on the camera. I know I got caught on one this weekend. But it was a little different, Brother in law and I were out checking his cameras and wouldn’t you know it a new stand and camera were found and it wasn’t his. Now granted the camera wasn’t my brother in laws, but the stand was literally ON the fence line facing the wrong way. the fence that had been standing for at least the last three years up until 2 weeks ago was now mashed down.

Got to give the guy credit he found a spot we/he liked and HE didn’t mission for So I guess he did the best with what he could. too bad there was about a 50′ oak on our trail right there that we had to cut up. lets just say the fence may be gone, but it may as well be there now.

that sucks, i been out three nights so far and all three nights there has been guns shots right at dark. make a guy wonder what’s up.

I hear ya!! The last two weekends at the cabin were ruined by tresspassers 1st weekend was a group of “many” squirrel hunting. Last weekend was locals that I have had trouble with the last several years. When I confronted them they told me to go back to the city where all the Idiots come from (I live on a farm) then they said dial 612 F&%$ off. and left. I’m a little worried about retaliation I think they are very lucky That “Top Heavy” wasn’t with or they might have been bear bait

similiar thing just happened to me went out yesterday morning to check cams and when we got to one the door was popped open and chip was gone, took the camera in to check the internal memory to see if we could get lucky and we did get a picture of someone messing at the camera but only from the chest down , really burns my
