About 4:30 we got out of my truck to head out to the stand. On the walk out i thought the hunt was ruined as we jumped a 150″ buck out of the edge of the woods at ten yards! 
But we got into stand anyways. As i am messing around Steph,(my girlfriend) said theres a deer. Not 30 yards away was a doe. This was within 5 minutes of being in stand. Unfortunetly she winded us and leaped back into the woods. Probably 30 minutes later i hear a snort. I looked at steph and asked if it was her. SHe said no. Just seconds later a 4 pointer walks into view at about 50 yards. I quick grab the grunt call and get his attention. As he started to walk away, i look out of the corner of my eye and see a deers tail flickering not more then 30 yards away. As soon as i seen it i knew it was the deer we nicknamed “bug eye”. Which seemed like an hour he closed the distance to ten yards, and the G5 Montec did the trick. With 39 pound draw bow it whipped right threw him. 
He went only 40 or so yards and piled up. I actually think i was more excited then steph.
When we found the deer i asked her if she wanted to shoot more deer now. Her answer was yes.
