“Rough Fish” forum? Or would that be too constrained? I would love to hear peoples’ stories about chasing dogfish.

I think carp and rough fish would be better placed in a separate forum myself.

I wouldn’t know. I won’t go there until the DNR smarts up and lets us use bait. Which will be never.

I agree with having a seperate forum for carp and rough fish too

Thank you James for putting this poll together so quickly. Once again proving IDO is the best

So what ever happened with this?

Anyway, this evening I saw a bunch of carp trapped in a shallow backwater area. They appeared to be spawning. It was muddy enough and shallow enough that I would not be surprised if this water was 60 degrees or so. Then again, in these shallow pools they always look like they are spawning swimming in pods and panicking when the water gets too shallow. I may have to rescue them at some point.

And yes I would herd up carp and save them.

Sorry guys, I had to step out for a few days. I’m back and in about 2 minutes the new forum will be in place. The results ended up being 2 – 1 in favor so I’ll make it happen. Thanks for voting guys.
