Not seeing the deer???

    If the deer seem to have switched patterns or you are not seeing deer.

    One word for you….ACORNS.

    Find the oak trees and you will find the deer. I have never seen so many acorns on the ground. I have read data that where and when available, acorns are the food deer most prefer.

    Hey Rob,
    I hunted along the Red River on a couple of differant farms and so far I’ve found no acorns. Seen a few deer not
    alot.

    I have not been up there yet Legacy. I will ask my buddy where he has been seeing them. The week October 8th,I will be up there for 3-4 days with Anger Issues against those ND Deer

    Well hopefully we’ll have a hard frost by than because the
    mosquitos are crazy. Since the season started I’ve been hoping to see some of the bucks on my trail cameras but so
    far not one seen. Hopefully tomarrow night if the wind stays Northwest like it did today.

    X2 on the moon, got traped in stand last night by a basket 8 named”Chip” sat there hoping it would get darker but as the sun sank out of site to the west the moon lite grew briter! Finally I lowered my bow to the ground and jiggled the rope to bounce the bow on the ground and spook the deer by the time I got the my trruck the moon was actually casting shadows. The moon is why I left my Sugar beet bucks alone this week…it killing me though
