I personally didnt think it was to be worn. I thought it was like a throwable item for safety. Guess I am not totally sure now. Anyone have a definite answer?

I’ve been waiting to get a set of inflatables so I can ensure that my guide trip clients are always wearing a PFD. The wait is over, and just in time for the open water season! Thanks Wade!

I’ll be there Thursday dropping off maps and setting up displays. I can’t wait to check out the new store. I hope the cash registers don’t open a day early or it could get spendy. Hope everything goes well on Saturday. I was supposed to be at the store too, but instead I’ll be out fishing the FLW League in Winneconne.

I had a post uo about a deer that I had just gotten photos of, and got lots of good feedback. Now, another monster has decided to walk in front of the camera. He is a 12 point, but you can’t see the one brow tine on the left side…what do you think he will score?

    Thanks for the help!!!

Here is a close-up photo…velvet should be coming off any day now

Also, how old do you think this deer is? My estimate would be 4 1/2.

Id say 160+ and over 4:5, when he beefs up he’s gonna be huge, already deep in his shoulder and neck and he has yet to begin rubbing

Yeah, all of the deer in the area I have seen (Pierce County) are still in velvet…It was like this last year too. Is that 160″+ net or gross???

    Agreed. Gross is for whitetails.

    150-55

Would love to give him more but lack of Mass gets him in that 150-55 range IMO.

    Darn nice deer!!!

I guess the buck to gross 159″. That’s (63″) of tine length + (19″) spread + (47″) main beams + (30″) for circs. I always figure conservatively. Not much for deductions. Likely grosses in the low 160’s and nets in the mid 150’s. I hope you get him or the other one. Both are great looking bucks

I too tend to “see” a score, then back it off. Whenever I have “guessed” a score, of an actual known rack, I tended to be about 8-10″ high… so what I see now, I back off about 10″… gets me pretty close I agree with another poster, his mass isn’t what it would appear in the picture, he is sporting velvet yet… this can throw off what many perceive. Either way, I would be scoring him this fall for sure, if given the chance
