Not quite the shooter that I was hoping for , I think this one is gonna be a cull buck I have never seen this one before either, so hopefully he brings some of his much older friends on over too. Not sure if his issues could be from an injury or not, but if given the chance I think I’d take him out …….your guys thoughts? Injury or bad Genes?

Hard to tell from a photo on whether or not his abnormal rack is from an injury. Last year we had two 3.5 year olds that we thought were going to be shooters and they both ended up having screwed up racks. One had a big [censored] sack on it’s neck. It eventually busted but we found him dead right before gun season. The other one appeared not to be injured but his one side was a lot smaller than his other. We have yet to see him this year.

He would be a great 1st buck for someone Personally I won’t burn my tag on a “cull” buck because you never know what he will look like next fall
