Well, I got the call a couple weeks ago that I lost a spot of mine. Granted it wasn’t a great spot, but none the less a spot closer to home. So I’m looking for some help if you guys would….To point me in the right direction. The season is pretty close and with my 3rd son being just 8 weeks old, my time to head out and knock on doors is pretty limited this season. All I’m really looking for is a productive spot to shoot a doe or two early season. I’m more than fine with public land if anyone has some to suggest that would be good early season. I live in New Prague, so anything in Jordan, Shako, PL, Savage, Lakeville, Farmington, Northfield, etc… Know an old couple that the deer are pee pounding their shrubs? I’m the guy. ha, ha I’ve hunted big woods, small woods, tight quarters residential, farmland, etc… and it doesn’t matter where I am as long as it’s in a tree.

I appreciate the help guys! Please feel free to PM me or shoot me an email if you’d rather keep a spot on the down low, but wouldn’t mind sharing.

You could talk to my wife that can be a daily adventure……. Did I just say that out loud…..

I can’t really help with the situation except for keep at it and something will pop up. That isn’t my neck of the woods but hopefully someone can help you out.

    Good luck

Much like mine benny. ha, ha Hunting land is tough to come by and in no way would I want to invade someone’s ground or their honey hole. But I guess that if there was a spot someone knew about that wasn’t hunted and I never asked the question, I’d never know about it. LOL

What i’ve found is,,,,It’s all hunted, and if it isn’t. Noboday can hunt it. But keep asking, that’s all you can do. Door knocking is a numbers game too. you never know when you will run into that ol’ lady that loves to watch em but didnt have much of a pea crop in her garden because of them!

Oh, and think about getting MN atlas. They’re pretty good about showing where public hunting land is at.
