Saaaweeet! Just found out we drew for zone 9 iowa! Just gotta figure out best place to hunt now.Couple decent ones on camera in bc also.Got the fever even worse now.

Let me know if you need any help UP. I just looked at the non-antlered quotas for Allamakee and Clayton a couple days ago and their the highest in the state. Theres alot of deer in those 4 counties and also alot of hills and bluffs. Those counties are good places to bowhunt, very scenic.

We scouted some public in allamakee this spring, just so much of it its hard to pick a spot. Have you hunted in zone 9?

I hunt some private ground In Clayton county and I probably can’t get you in but check your mail. I sent you a name of a guy whos party came from lower Michigan and hunted a public hunting spot in Allamakee. I do remember him saying one of the guys who came with him shot a nice 150″ and they all seen bucks as big and bigger, I think there was 4 bowhunters total. He also said it was a walk and a half back into where they were with alot of bluffs and hills but there was plenty of deer. Check your mail and I know you can get intouch with him. Tell him I told you to message him for infor on where they hunted. The public ground up there is good hunting.
