Just copied and pasted what I posted on the fishing site over to here too as it seems fitting.

RRR, I’m really not sure what you are looking to hear out of the “HC Bow Guys”. Why would the HC bow guys really care either way if these laws are passed or not, they are most likey already doing this in some form or another already? That’s why I don’t think your getting much discussion on it. If it’s law or not it’s not going to change anything for them, .

RRR, I get the feeling you are trying to make this into a bow hunter vs. gun hunter thing, which in my opion it isn’t. From reading your posts on here and the hunting site, it seems obvious that you don’t get a long with some bow hunters that you share hunting property with. I really don’t think its fair that you are throwing the entire bow hunting population under the bus because you don’t get along with a few. Maybe I’m wong but that’s the impression I get by reading some of your posts.

Whitetails4ever–Thanks for your reply and moveing the post to this side.—“looking for out of the HC BOYS”-Maybe it is the fact that HC BOYS are working hard on the big picture, both behind the scenes and not always up front about there agenda. That being they want to kick me out of the woods during prime time! Yet, like i said in my other posts, they will still be in the woods ALL BY THEMSELFS!—As far as trying to turn it into a gun vs bow. No! I BOW hunted mn. for 16 yrs. took a few yrs. off and BOW hunted Wi. last yr. and as far as haveing problems with bow hunters where i hunt. No again. We are lucky enough to have permisson on 4 farms in prime deer country 4 over 20yrs. We leave are stands up year around as do some of the bow hunters there. I have given them permission to hunt my stands when we are not there. In return i can hunt there stands when they are there ——Finaly–as for hc bow not repyling ??–They already have it all! and don’t want to admit to there BIG PICTURE AGENDA

It is sad. Very sad….. Very sad when lobbyist are shoving their minority opinion of non scientific/biological data down the DNRs throat.

Gary did you listen to the video on the DNR web site yet? I think you might get allot of your questions answered there.

From the 2009 survey 3000 surveys were divided up between 3A & 3B firearms hunters, 1740 of them were completed and sent back. 7% of the responses were from organized groups 3% MDHA and 1% BWA.

Just an FYI for everyone I did not post these topics to start a big debate here, I am trying as much as possible to keep my personal views to myself here, most of you already know where I stand anyway. I posted the info on the meetings so both sides can show up and have there opinions heard.

REALLY STEVE?????????? Come on, you posted an anti-turkey hunting post on the TURKEY PAGE, just because you though it might hurt your deer hunting. Get real you are not unbias on this. You have your organizations aggenda that you are pushing. Dont try to come off as an innocent bystandard that doesn’t have any affilation.

You could not be more wrong if you tried to be, my voting NO to hunting turkeys with dogs has nothing to do with my deer hunting, as a matter of fact I support a 30 day turkey season in mid October.

How am I coming off as an innocent bystander? I have BWA in my sig file for crying out loud. I have never made it a secret where I stand on the issue of the MN deer gun season, anyone that is a regular vister to this site pretty much knows where I stand on this topic, I have posted plenty of other posts on the topic of how I feel about the timing of the MN gun season no need to rehash that here as it is not even on the table as a possibility at this time.

Here’s a link for the info seeking minds on antler point restrictions and the results of it in Missouri. Some good info in here weither you’re for/against/or still on the fence about it.

From that study it sounds like they are counting a 2 year old as an adult, maybe i am wrong but if they do that all they did is save the yearling buck to get shot at a two year old adult.
