For those of you with clover plots. Now is the time to start thinking about frost seeding your clover. It’s a tad early for most in MN/WI yet, but southern IA, MO, IL, KS. You can frost seed your clover when there’s still snow covering the plot. When the spring melt is in full swing, the tiny clover seeds that you frost seeded will work right into the soil.

I use the recommended amount/acre on the bag for broadcasting seeds. Frost seeding your clovers every 2/3 years is best practice for longevity of the plot. Also, you can’t get much better then a well kept clover plot for spring gobblers.
