    Dart, being it was Xmas eve, I’m guessing yes it was off the land they lease or own in Iowa. Although I do not know this for a fact.

    From their website The Crush. The Unicorn buck was worth the wait, scoring 172 5/8, this is one of Tiffany’s largest bucks taken with a bow in years!

    So, how anxious was Tiffany to hunt on December 23 this year?

    “To say I was excited to get out that evening is an understatement, even though the weather was nasty with a mix of rain and snow. I was very thankful we were hunting in a blind.” This time, Tiffany was hunting with her Mathews Passion and Lee was running the camera.

    As the night progressed, Tiffany said it was getting warmer and warmer, and the sleet turned into rain – the same weather she had on the previous Dec 23 hunts.

    “As Lee and I were sitting in our blind I looked to my left and saw a couple does coming out of our Antler King honey hole bay and thought, oh good, at least the deer are starting to move.” When Tiffany looked down and to her left again she spotted a buck. “I remember Lee asking if he was a shooter, and by the time I responded, Lee was almost yelling – It’s Unicorn! Grab your bow!” Tiffany grabbed her bow and tried to scoot over as much as possible and ranged him one last time with her Nikon Range Finder, showing 34 yards.

    “I took a deep breath and pulled my Passion back and let ‘er fly! The rest is history. I could not believe that I had just shot Unicorn with my bow! I don’t think my Christmas could have gotten any better!”
