I walked the perimeter of a 600 acre parcel. I came across 1 set of deer tracks. I walked between the woods, picked corn, picked beans, and hay. I even dropped down to check some of the usually deer highways nothing. I did see a lot of turkeys! I came up with 2 theories!
Theory 1: The turkeys have become carnivorous!
Theory 2: MN hired the guys that did the deer counts in WI! 
Either way it is not looking promising for me to put some meat in the freezer, but I do have until the 31st!

I do have permission to hunt on another property. I have been seeing a few deer on it. The little S.O.B’s have been staying on the other side of the fence where I can’t shoot! 
It’s like they know that! Well within range and down wind even, so I moved my stand just a little. Hopefully that will help me put the 
down on one!
