A guy at work who was off all week to hunt, told me today that his group didn’t have much luck, but they filled two tags. The first they filled was on a doe that they found dead, which a neighboring group apparently lost. Then, while driving from one property to another, a crew running a wood chipper clearing trees from under power lines waved them over. A button buck had come out of the woods running full speed and ran right into the wood chipper, which was sitting still, breaking its neck. They tagged it and made sure it didn’t go to waste.
