Ks bow kill mule deer and a little whitetail

    Hey guys Lip Ripper over on the fishing forum thought you might like to see the mule deer I took last week in Kansas with a bow.I added on the photos of one of my friends.We had the most unbelievable week.Usually four of us hunt about a week and get 1 deer total.I think everything lined up this year 4 guys 4 deer.Least points was a 21″ wide 10 point.Smallest was a 20″ wide light fram 15 point.These two were pretty impressive though.

    wow, awesome! im assuming you can buy tags over the counter? did you use an outfitter?

    Actually I live in Kansas and hunted here for years .I can buy either any whitetail any season or any deer bow permits over the counter. My friends from out of state have to draw for their whitetail permits and it’s all but impossible to get a mule deer tag any given year for nonresidents. No outfitters are involved we plan the dates based on moon and rut activity and hope for the best.I scout almost all year since I have an agricultural job.Wish I could tell you more but one part of our success is the lack of people that figured out our oddball style of hunting.
