Well i am new to the winona mn area. I am from the Milwaukee area and will be hunting there for opening shotgun season. I will be back in Winona for the later part of the week and just wondering if there is any public land worth poking around in. i would really like to get some private land permission but have been shut down. Any help would be amazing. Thanks a ton for the help!!!
There is a lot of state land in the Winona area. Contact the local dnr to find out what has hunting access. Good Luck!
you would be better off getting away from winona to hunt state land. All the state land in the winona area has a great deal of pressure. you can find state land on the dnr’s web sight. good luck
thanks i am looking on the wisconsin side….I have been bow hunting some no the mn side and have had some luck before the gun season when you heave the weekend worriers just out and about… thanks a lot guys.
