Wow! From the looks of it, you caught the G2 and G3 off each side…If thats the case, that buck has some serious mass!

Looking at the picture a little more closely, those legs are much to tall to be a deer.

That and it has no belly…..

Steve, is this off your camera? If so, have you seen moose on your property before? If not, you do now!

Well it is certainly not a wolf or coyote but my vote goes for a moose as well but the coloring and white underside have thrown me off a bit??? Definately has a moose’s long legs though.

Yes this is off my camera and the first thing I thought was is that a moose??? But we are talking about SE MN here. I have never heard of any in the area, might have to talk to some of the neighbors to see if they have seen this guy or have any pics.

I think what we are seeing is a Whitetail that clearly has the legs of a super model and the rack of a well….. nevermind

These two pics were taken on Sunday 11/08/09 at 12:34PM and 12:39PM I shot my doe on the same day at noon. Has anyone else noticed more deer or moose activity in the early afternoons?

Should have let the doe walk and you could of had a moose

    Bobcat!!

I’d sure have to vote moose on this one, although camera angle seems to be a little “different” than most shots. Do you have your camera about a foot off the ground, pointed up??

The antlers sure scream moose to me.

I have relatives near Fairmont, MN, (south central) and they have had a moose on their property before. Wandered down from further north. Not unheard of, I guess. Its so skinny in the hindquarters, though, I’m sort of scratching my head. But those antlers absolutely scream moose to me.

It is maybe 2 foot off the ground but I do not believe it is pointing up I will have to check the next time I am at that stand, I am waiting for a N or NW wind.
