Any suggestions out there for processors near Eau Claire?? Does anyone have one they REALLY like and can’t do without? Looking for ring bologna, sausage, beer sticks or maybe jerky.

The closest one around E.C. that i really liked was Nolechecks. Yes it isnt real cheap BUT it has been the best i have found for overall good taste. Mikes Star market does make some good sticks, and summer sausage. The only other one I have dealt with is wissota meat market. Their stuff was ok, but the flavor and texture just wasnt quite what I was hoping for.
So if you can swing it i would go with nolechecks
November 9, 2009 at 5:56 am #67069We used Frase’s in Augusta til it burned down. I think there are new people in there now so not sure about that one. Might have to try Nolechek’s some time. Good to know about Wissota. It’s convenient and they have some other good stuff but I know they had not been doing much Veni right off when they opened.
