Early Season

Got this guy in late Sept. at 27 yards on a food pattern with my Renegade bow. I did my homework and it paid off on the third night of the season, it was the third night i saw this buck also (2 different stand locations). I had never shot a pope@young shooting right handed and since i have switched to lefty i have been on a roll,4 years in a row. I believe it has more to do with hunter evolution than which side you shoot. Anyway thanks for letting me post some not so good pics. I’m guessing mid 130’s and he field dressed at 220 on the hook. The butcher says it’s going to be a cold winter with all the fat that was on that buck.

I am pretty sure it has everything thing to do with being a lefty!!! ( I shoot left handed)

    Nice Buck!

Nice buck. Sounds like you knew this deer pretty well. Early season can payoff when you do your homework.

That is actually a shaver for him. You should see his walls. Too bad he isn’t as good a fisherman as he is a hunter.

Sometimes you need to let your friends have the upperhand Whisker . And thanks for the comment on the wall decor.

Almost as funny as Mendota being pulled out to the duck blind in a big old inner tube.

Then there was those two times he broke my front navigation lights. I think I’m going to give up duck hunting. I’m not very good at it and I can only find time to do it opening weekend and I am considering getting a new to me boat more setup for fishing.
