Think of the size of the pile that dog would leave out in the yard. You’d need a front-end loader just to clean up.

I have had the pleasure of meeting a few of these dogs and all my clothes had to be washed afterwards. They slobber like crazy. But they are so nice and “gentle” wanting lots of love.

I’m sure these people thought it would be neat to have a big dog. Now that it is big there finding out its more responsibilty than they want. It likes kids but not strangers well any new home for the dog will have all strangers in it. People who want pets need to look ahead. Who would want to take a chance on bringing this dog into there home. I hope there is a new home found for this dog but I guessing there won’t be.

Maybe the zoo can take care of him, they have lots of food over in the elephant section.

along with that so called “dog”.. I was at the vet this morning getting my kids pet rabbit spayed. the girl there was commenting on a cat named “moose”.. I told her it could be worst, it could be a moose named “cat”…

the original poster must have taken a photo of a moose after it had “dropped” its antlers.

I assume they just hook these beast up to the stumps and he removes them for the owners.

wouldn’t selling this animal put these people out of business? just asking.

That’s a forward looking statement Old Rat!

Just to ensure full and total understanding of this post…it’s an Internet email joke.

There isn’t a puppy dog for sale…Brian doesn’t own the dog..he just forwarded the joke on to me…and I added my little…um…twist.

Brian will be returning all the cash and checks sent to him for dog food and Dakota County has cancel the “sentenced to serve” clean up in Brian’s area. (that’s a funny too

I have been out countless mornings, evenings and even during the middle of the day, and have only successfully called one decent 8 into range. This area I am hunting is always ridiculous, in years past one could almost guaranty at least two shooter bucks would come into range before the shotgun season took place. This year I have seen a total of three deer while on stand. What gives? I have trail cams setup and have gotten several decent bucks with one nice shooter thrown into the mix, however they dont seem to move until after dark. Doe’s, well they seem to have fallen off the face of the earth. The only thing I can think of now is that there has been quite some disturbance with kids running four-wheelers and gators all over the place. It is not my land, so I have to take the good with the bad. Sorry for the rant but was wondering what I should do, find new land, flatten their tires or what!

Also, went out last Friday around noon to the same area just closer to the main entrance looking for sign and notice some monster rubs and a few scrapes near by, decided that afternoon I would only have enough time to hang a stand and not hunt. It was about 5pm when I finally got out there and you guessed it I spooked a monster buck, apparently he was rubbing a tree with his head down and I got about 10 yards away before I saw him and he saw me. Hung the stand and haven’t hunted it yet. Will he still be around or will he avoid that area altogether?

If it were me I would give it one more try in the spot where you kicked up the big boy, I would wait though until this Friday just before the gun season opens, what the heck you have nothing to lose by trying. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

I agree with Steve. It might be worth it to sit in the stand during the opener. He might get pushed to you! Good luck!

I have no idea were the deer go. I saw 19 does two weeks ago. I sat last night and morning till about 1230 saw one last night and jumped one this morning. Is it the moon, are they in the corn gorging because its getting cold. I would like to know to. On anothe note my buddy saw 9 bucks this mornng by plainview in the woods on a hillside cruising. Does anyone have any answers for US.

My nephew and I went out Friday Saturday and today till 2:00 p.m. never saw a deer from our stands. Saw an eight point chasing a doe on a side hill as we were driving to our stands Saturday afternoon around 3:00 p.m.

I may sleep in tomorrow and sit mid morning till evening.
