I am interested in buying a decoy to use for deer hunting. Just wondering if they work and what kind (buck or doe) to buy. Also, what type of calls to use with a decoy. Any help would be awesome!!

October 27, 2009 at 2:56 pm #64999Jake I have used my carry-lite decoy on my last 2 sits. I had him placed 35yrds upwind of me. Over my last 2 sits 4 different deer have come in to investigate but all anterless. All have given me close possible shots. They do work and none of the deer this year have spooked from it. It sure is fun to watch them react, never knew a deer could stretch out their neck so far!!! I use it with antlers attached and have rattled and grunted.
