Now it’s on got 2 weeks of vacation from both jobs. Went yesterday and never seen a deer . Something has to give. Those deer will get stupid in the next two weeks. Time to

Well….my luck was definitely not with my on Monday. I missed one bigger than the one shown from that stand. It was closing in on darkness, he came to my rattling and grunting. He came up the trail raking every tree he came across. He came right on into the food plot. I had injured my shoulder and was worried that I would not be able to pull my bow back plus I was shaking like a leaf. This would have been the biggest that I have ever gotten. He must have heard the string because he reminded me of the movie “Bambi” out on the ice with legs in all directions. I shot over him, at least it was a clean miss. He walked off then met up with a medium buck who looked like a baby next to this other one. They circled around each other in the set aside field. I grunted softly, this brings the smaller of the two back into the food plot. I thought “oh god I am going to get a second chance”. Well he came to the edge of the food plot face on behind some branches then eventually walked off. Very exciting end of my night with a disappointing result. I hope I see him again with “LadyLuck” results!!
