    definite pre-rut. a lot of young bucks looking dumb out there right now. Things will start to heat up for the BIG BOYS in the next 2 wks

    i believe pre-rut. saw a nice 10 pointer chasing a few does.

    The big boys are just easing into it…sparring with each other, rubbing trees, throwing out a couple scrapes here and there. They definitely aren’t loopy yet.

    pre rut…with the right weather (front, rain, snow ect) whenever we are having a break the past week (last 3 hunts) I am seeing all does being followed by bucks of all ages..mostly young but last night we had 8 buck sightings with 4 harrassing does. 2 Weeks should be about right as long as we don’t get a long warm spell making them more nocturnal!

    Im in the stand now walked in hung my climber and did a few soft grunt when i got up the tree and had a two year old come bolting threw looked and off he went just need a three or four to do the same thing now
