    after being out in the rain at work all day I stayed home tonite

    been a strange sept and oct so far

    i was out this morning and this evening. 12 deer and no shots but hey thats hunting. It did get a lttle wet this morning and a little in the evening.

    i didnt get to go morning or afternoon but starting tom its going to be a diff storey one of the does i seen tonight i noticed that her hawks where getting pretty dark gotta love to see that

    Just something about this time of the year and the cold air that makes you want to be in the woods

    I didn’t cause I’m on vacation with the family up in Duluth, we drove up to Two Harbors this morning and the deer were everywhere, even right in town eating grass in yards. I’ll post some pics when I get home

    Made it out tonight and got to pass my best so far this year a whopping 115″ 8pt. Saw 4 other bucks which were all 1.5 yr olds. Also about 10 does and fawns. I think this week will forever be etched in my memory as I’ve seen 17 bucks between the 2 properties I hunt. This weather is PERFECT!

    wasnt in the deer stand but the dog and i were able to get our two roosters after seeing 13 hens before them….great hour and a half hunt.

    that sounds like a fun sit to me wish i could of got out this afternoon tom morning i think should be rocking i have been saving a few spots for this time of year and think its time to start sneakin in there

    passed a little 6 pt tonight at 30 yards and video taped him licking my Cudde 11 mins after i checked how many images were on it. i couldn’t believe he tolerated my scent? then i saw the same 110-115″ 8 pt that i passed a few weeks ago

    I bet them will be some cool pics i cant say i have ever seen a deer lick a trail cam if they turn out you should post them glad to hear you seen some deer
