Spent some time in the “Backyard” in Fall Creek last night and had a few small bucks come in. After feeding in the plot and getting a drink from the pond, they saddled up next to each other facing opposite direction and began to groom each other for a good 15 minutes. Looked like they needed to get a room!! They hung around most of the night. I should have pics in future posts, as they were right in front of the camera. I didn’t dare mess with it at dark since that is where Trip has been coming out at night. One was the monster spike in the pictures. I added a few others. Wish I could pass up the bigger one (Mr. P). I almost hope he makes it through the season. He’d be a real pig next year
Both of our food plots are rung with scrapes suddenly and each of the 3 small bucks I saw went after multiple locations, licking, scraping and pissing. Wanting to fill the freezer too, but no doe now in 3 sits even though I have them on the plot cameras. Hopefully this weekend
