192 inch 10 Point Typical Buck – Buffalo Cty, WI

    I received an email today from a friend stating that this buck was harvested with a bow on Sept. 23rd near Fountain City,WI in Buffalo County.

    Here are the stats:

    Green scored 192 inches

    Net scored 184 inches

    Inside spread 24 inches

    This would most likely put this buck in the number 5 spot for WI Archery Bucks.

    Congratulations to the hunter on this magnificent buck!

    The email included his name but out of respect, I did not post it. If anyone knows him, I would love an introduction and find out if he would be willing to film a little video with us to put on the site.

    Hes only about 15″ off the worlds record I think. Definitely a nice buck and good looking rack too.

    I believe the world record P&Y buck is Mel Johnsons that netted 204 4/8.

    Geez, What’s in the water over there? Anybody who can harvest a deer of that magnitude with a bow is completely deserving simply by keeping cool enough to pull it all of. Congrats to him!

    WOW!! What a beast!
    I’ll be taking pictures at the local dirt track in Fountain City in a couple of weeks. I may have to bring my bow along and make a trip in the woods behind the track around night fall!
