If you come across a salt lick and a stand and there is more than one popcan and or candie wrapper on the ground below the stand it is your right to pee on salt lick.Exceptions to this rule if you have a camera man with you he may or may not be eligible to pee on the gun rope on a long morning sit. Why do people throw trash on the ground and leave it there??????????????

I would pee on his stand and throw the salk lick down the hill. And probably pick up the garbage.

I found a deer stand on my property while pheasant hunting one time. The person had a whole bunch of peanut butter jars on the ground open for bait and a pair of antlers hanging in the tree. Those antlers are mine, I picked up the jars of peanut butter, and put about 20 rounds through his nice stand and left it for him to see. He should have not littered on my property.

I picked up all stuff except left one popcan hanging from his bow rope so he would understand people don’t appreciate seeing this maybe he’ll get the message maybe not.

You son of a….that was my stand

Just kidding, I know exactly what you are saying. Some of the property I hunt has a couple others hunting it as well. After the hunting season I usually walk the grounds looking for sheds. I always find those buck bomb cans as well as several pop cans directly under these guys stands. Just pick it up.

It’s probably the same SOB’s that throw out their pizza slice or breakfest sandwich containers down our roads each time I see that it really pisses me off wish I could see someone throw one out I think I would deposit my garbage on their drive way. Just plain worthless lazy people.

My motto has always been that you can’t teach stupid. Slobs like that never seem to learn unfortunately.

I had a guy last year that placed a stand less than 30 yards from me and put his bait pile within 10 yards of my stand. (In WI where 2 gallons of bait is legal.) When I confronted him about the large amount of bait that was near my stand, and my concerns that I would be blamed for the acessive amount of bait, he had no clue what the ethical thing to do was…I was told that there are other hunters in the area and that was the end of the conversation.

I ended up moving my stand, right after I removed the excess amount of bait from his pile. Also left a note on his stand stating my intentions to contact TIP regarding his excessive baiting procedures…

Personally, I have no patience for people who cannot abide by the rules, and keep our resources clean. There are way too many anti-outdoors lobbyists around these days that attempt to pass additional legislature on our passion, and I feel that we all need to set a positive example every time we venture outdoors.

personally i would have picked up the garbage and carried it out knowing that i am a better sportsman than the other hunter just cant bring myself to mess with another hunters set up and btw theres a better chance of your pee attracting a deer than scaring it away just my opinion
