I can’t wait. I am here at college and I am reading every report, article and looking at recent fishing baits I have bought, I take them out of the package just to touch them. I am so eager to get out. It is driving me nuts. Only about a month and a half and we should be able to fish

We ask that you refer to that as cold weather challenged.

Count on me to spill the first cup of coffee!
Jeez, you spill one cup of coffee in a guy’s boat and you can never live it down.
As I recall, I was trying to net somebody’s fish for them. Stuart should share the blame.

Tell ya what, Halfen. I expect you and Dean to give me a call for the April river bite. I will be in mooch mode, looking to hop in the little car and take a ride to Everts. I’ll have rods, tackle, food and beer… no boat. Reserve me a spot mister!
January 31, 2008 at 12:04 am #649578Yup, I’m getting there with ya Jesse. There are a few new things I wanna try in our canal system here this year, and one of them is real early, so I’m definitely looking forward to that. It’s freakin artic out here today, but hopefully February will fly by.

until we meet on open water. As much as I love ice fishing I can’t wait for open water season!
I have cleaned the boat (twice), oiled reels, installed new line, cleaned rods, organized tackle, made my need to buys list. I am starting to run out of things to do, Oh well I guess I will just make more jigs, paint jigs and keep tying more hair jigs.
It needs to warm up some before I can do the bearings and install new LED trailer lights and then I am ready for open water fishingRon

After the day of fishing we had I’ll take all the blame.
September 26, 2009 at 2:24 pm #200573i went out this morning and my rangefinder wasn’t working properly. The distance wasn’t displaying and one time it wasn’t turning on Anyone have these problems before? I looked at the instructions and it says to replace the battery so thats what im going to do.
But if that doesn’t work, anyone know where i could possibly get it looked at?
