Why does a guy do this to himself get all pumped up about bow hunting and it finally comes shoot a nice buck and then go back out to see what is going on out in the woods, and lo and behold you have the biggest buck you have ever seen come within 15 yards of your stand.
i havent been in the woods since last thurs for that very reason but when it happens ill take pictures 
im very happy with the buck i got but i know there are bigger ones out there

Sounds like an earn-a-buck experience I had. 
I know exactly what you mean, its frustrating but part of hunting as well. One needs to be content with the buck he or she decides to take at that given moment. If we could all go out and shoot big bucks every time, then hunting would not be considered hunting. It is such a blast passing on 130 and 140 inch bucks just hoping your dream buck walks by.
