You know Luke, I have never had any problems with my Strikemasters augers except when ”I” broke the handle part of a wingnut. And when I called up Strikemaster to order one, which is just a very cheap sale, I was treated like I would of been buying a ton of stuff. Very nice people and very nice customer service. I am impressed.
    Thanks, Bill

I can’t say the same about their customer service.

I’ve never had to use it .

Did the same thing but I also cracked my composite bit walked in handed him the bit and I told him I wasn’t sure how it happened which was the truth. He handed it off and ask me a couple ?s about it and I told him I just love it. Hands it back to me and printed out the bill as I bought a shirt and some oil $ 12.42 and I was out of there in 10 minutes.
No CHARGE for the new bit that was unbelievable , now thats customer service for ya!!!! Oh ya , they also upgraded the cover NICE !!!

SM does have awesome customer service. The metal rod that connects the throttle to the motor broke on ours and all we had to do was bring it in and they gave us the part for free. Also bought an extension while we were there and gave us a discount on that. Great people.

Talked to strikemaster yesterday about the broken handle on my mag2000 and they said “we’ll get the new handle sent out today.” Sure enough, get home today and it was all ready there.

I am in the same boat as Biggill. Never had to use their customer service for anything – and I bought my first Strikemaster auger in 1986 or ’87….

Other than when I bought my 10″ laser bit from the factory in Big Lake and the guy gave me a set of replacement blades for free – and he told me to bring him dull blades and he’d give me new ones for free, I have never dealt with them first hand. From that one experience though, I think they take pretty good care of their customers!

years ago, I bought an XL3000 that ended up having a bent shaft. I called them and the lady had me take the blades off, throw the auger part in the trash and within a couple days, I received a brand new auger. No questions asked…I’ll never buy anything but a Strikemaster. You can’t beat customer service like that

I have the first strike lite edition that they produced. When I bought mine, they came with a yellow cover, instead of the the black/heavy duty cover.

What a zoo to say the least. Pool5hunter and I went today and got some stuff, its amazing how fast people run around grabbing stuff. Some good deals to be had if you where fast enough to find the size you need, If anyone needs 2-3x sizes you shouldnt have any problem finding a whole set up

    Crazy is an understatement!!!

Its funny how it works…you spend 1-2 hours in line to get in…10-20 minutes in a shopping blitz…than another 1-2 hours in line to check out!
