Who here will be hunting on new land this Fall? Who is not excited?????

I will be bow hunting a new piece in Wisconsin this year and I can’t wait to hunt it and just dreaming about hunting during the rut.

I may also be getting on a new piece aobut 10 minutes North of my house, but I’m waiting on my lil brother.

Still have my same prime spots in ND & SD.

    30 MORE DAYS BOYS!

Im hunting some new land on the edge of town right outside the city limits. Im not much for hunting so close to town but im going to twist my arm this season and do it. Its not real big, one place is 8 acres and the place across the lane is 18. This whole area is surrounded by old growth hardwoods and river bottom softwoods. One edge of these places is an old abandon overgrown park thats always been known for its deer and big bucks. If I had to drop a pencil with my eyes shut hopeing for the best place in this area, Id hope it dropped here, it dosen’t come any better in this whole area. I helped some older folks out that live there with flood repair and didn’t charge anything and they are letting me hunt there plus his friend across the lane that has the 18 acres. 26 acres of the best Iowas got to offer with thousands of other acres all around this place.

Im going up soon to get my cameras that are still in the woods from last fall and put them up here. If I get anything impressive I’ll post what they are. Sometimes a guy gets lucky.

I sure will be hunting new land. Moved from Good ole Wisconsin to West Virginia. Seen 51 deer the other night, but not much in terms of size. I may consider hunting over the ohio river in Ohio.

Leased another 80 acres kiddy corner from our piece from last year. Now we have 160 acres and plenty of Clark County Forest…now if the wolves will leave the deer alone!

With any luck you’ll be able to hunt them wolves soon. Once that’s legal, I’d be happy to come shoot one of them for you. I’ve got a special place in my “Dead Animal” room for a big black alpha male.

We have a new neighbor to the north of us doing QDM as well…should be exciting to see what happens over the next couple of years!

just found out a couple days ago that we picked up 180 acres to deer hunt – and i will be the only one bowhunting it!!!!!!!

an ideal spot down a long lane into the middle of a section with hardwood timber, rolling hills, strips of woods and fingers of crop fields, bottom land with a large creek running through it. and its only 5 minutes from home.

i hunted it 30 years ago before the land changed hands.

and it now has turkeys, too.

thats after losing close to 80 percent of my hunting ground the last 6-7 years due to outfitting/leasing.
