Here’s some food plot pics from Missouri. First pic is a seed blend from Nutri-plot called Striptease. It’s a blend of soybeans, arrowleaf clover, bowie everlasting peas, and lark partridge peas. 2nd pic is another blend by Nutri-plot called Forage Ultra, its nickname is “jungle plot”. Its a blend of forage soybeans, vining soybeans, sweet sorghum, cow peas, and kenaf. It gets its nickname because it will grow to 6-10 feet tall. We use it for a barrier around plots to keep them secluded. The last pic is a plot of straight forage soybeans. All pics were taken 25 days after seeding.

Great looking plots W4E! I’m jealous. Please share more pics of the jungle when it matures.

Will have 45 day pics up sometime this week. Huge jumps in the last 21 days especially in the jungle plots. Sorghum and Kenaf really took off.

Here’s the 45 day pics from the same 3 plots. Striptease in pic 1, Forage Ultra(jungle)in pic 2, soybeans in pic three. Pic 4 is more soybeans with barrier strip of jungle in the middle and I’m on the tractor turning over ground for fall planting. Pic 5 turning over more ground for fall planting.
Our fall plantings will include 2 different blends of cereal grains by Nutri-plot, Fall Perfect and Winterfeast. We will also plant our clover/chicory/peas/brassica blends this fall cause it was so wet in MO last spring we couldn’t get them in.
