I was actually looking forward to wacking an early season doe!

With my out of state archery license can I still shoot a doe & buck or is it only one?

    Lip,
From what I’ve heard they’re still going to have the extra doe tags. You just won’t have to shoot a doe first to get your buck.

I already got my licenses and the tags are the same as last year…you just don’t have to shoot a slick head first! I too will be banging some does though…doing my part keep out the E.A.B.

Now if old mossy horns walks by on opening day you can lay the hammer down and still fill the freezer with some sweet doe backstraps!

OK – I guess I won’t be needing those 2 earn a buck stickers I got last year.

I hope land owners realize the importance of managing the deer herd and the buck to doe ratio. We as hunters, must all do our part.

Muskyman, let’s just say I’m extending my boundaries.
