Well, I just received my “Any Deer Archery Permit” for ND from the ND G&F. This allows me to go chase Muleys with my bow along with whitetails in ND this fall.

However, it will have to be an awful big muley to pull my tag out of my pocket and miss out on chasing Splitter next fall. Right now were are planning on hunting ND Labor Day weekend and possibly will be out Western ND chasing Muleys and Pronghorns come early September.

Congrats Lip! Whitetails, muleys, pronghorns…. only thing left would be an elk tag!

Thanks guys! I’m pumped to hunt ND this year. Out Western ND for Muleys and the river bottom farmlands where Splitter is lurking.

    Hey Guys,
I was wondering can you buy a non resident archery tag for whitetails over the counter. Because a hunting buddy and I are thinking about buying one. We’ve been thinking
about going on an out of state hunt for awhile now. I think
it would be cheaper just to buy a North Dakota tag and you
can hunt all season long. Since we both live on the Minn/NDakota border.

Good luck out there this year! I’ll be on the east side closer to school (ndsu)…not as many deer on the east side but it beats studying!
and I believe you can buy OTC out of state archery licenses for
    $200

Newts, After the outwest trip, I will be focusing most of my time just South of Fargo. There are some dandies around that area and one has my name on him!

    I’m a NDSU Alumni!

MN Legacy,Yep you can buy a either sex whitetail archery tag for $215.00 ($200 for the tag and $15 for the General License).
