I am seriously thinking about switching from rage 2 to jakhammer. I did shoot my p&y last year with a rage but i made a horrible shot. I watch alot of hunting shows and it seem the penetration is horrible. Pat reeves was using shooting a rage when he shot moses and never found him. then he found out later, that he shot him perfect but hit a rib and totally glanced off and it was a broad side shot. Another thing i noticed and heard someone say is they put them in order in there quiver from least to most likely to fail. My last batch i bought seemed like they wouldn’t stay closed enough.
From what i here these jakhammers have great penetration and go through bone like nothing.They have 100g three blade which I think are the ones i’m interested in. Has anyone used or heard about them. Any imput would help in my decision.
I personally do not like them, but ive heard decent comments about them….Blades are pretty thick but i worry about penetration w/ the tip, but some argue against that statement. I might hold up for this summer in deciding broadheads though. I heard Rage is coming out with different cutting diameters. The 2 blade is gonna offer a 1.5″ cut and the 3 blade is going to be 2″
