Splitter is still alive!

    I just got a phone call from my buddy Paul in ND and he saw Splitter yesterday.

    He is a main frame 4×4 with matching Split g2’s on each side. Paul said he looked good and healthy. He saw him back in the food plot. I just can’t imagine what he might look like and score next year??? He will be 5.5 next year I beleive. We did not have a chance to shoot him this year. But we both beleive he would gross in the 140’s.

    What a cool buck. He’ll be a stud next year.

    If you and your buddy need any help finding those sheds, I’m sure you could find plenty of help on this site

    Hybrid??? Certainly looks to have some Mulley traits in that rack. Look how wide that thing is. Awesome

    Great news Lip! That buck has a lot of character and he’s going to have more next year!

    Now go find his sheds so we can drool on them!

    I’m hopefully planning a trip sometime the end of the month begining of March to go shed hunt for this boy. He dropped mid to late February last year.

    Exactly Kooty.

    We have a pretty good idea on one of his main bedding areas. It is on Pauls Farm, but real close to the edge of his property. We know he frequents Paul’s food plots and frequents the trail we have trail cam pics of him on. We have 2-3 stands that are along this trail and one real close to the camera location. In fact it is 32 yards to the camera and about 34-35 to the trail where the pics are taken. This trail forks and he can either stay at about 34 yards or there is a 22 yard trail that runs by my favrotie stand “The Knobby”. He has been running this the last 2 years. This year we did not educate him much at all like the year previous, so hopefully we are on to him more then the other way around. But those 4.5 year olds aren’t still alive for being dumb. Next year he will be 5.5 and that much smarter.
