Ok, I finally got these down loaded and have been busy, but been able to do a lil editing and cut out the long stand offs, delete the horrible video footage and just keep the bad stuff. I’m just learning this stuff, but learned a ton this year and this past hunt. As all of my hunts have been mainly form tree stands, this hunt was way different. I have to remember things like not to forget your tripod at home in MN. I’m looking forward to next year already as I have some great ideas for some better quality videos, but I hope at least these are bearable.

The first one is from the rifle hunt we had on New Years Day morning.

Enjoyed the videos Lip! Especially when the doe popped up from her bed in the tall grass and you were pinned down. Congrats on your encounters!

That was definitely a mistake I made that I will hopefully never do again. I was stuck with my bow facing the wrong direction when the doe popped up. Being that close, you should always be facing the right direction and not have to swing like I did once you draw. I tried to go right around a bush, but being left handed I should have planned better so that if and when the deer popped up I was facing the right direction. The deer spooked on the motion of swinging my bow to the correct position. Something that should have been avoided when making my stalk. I had done pretty good on this all the way until I went right around that bush. That got me out of position. Oh well that is hunting….. As long as we learn from our mistakes.

Sometime here in the next few weeks I will be putting together another video or two and taking some time and putting music and other things to them. I will post when completed.

I was going to ask you the same thing. Some of your Turkey videos are pretty sweet!

All videos should be imbeded now and appear on the screen.
