ragerunner Winona, MNPosts: 699 January 8, 2009 at 4:49 pm #46354 At least it was found before some critters ate it up. That buck was a true king.
ses Mayer, MNPosts: 100 January 8, 2009 at 5:28 pm #46358 That deer is UNREAL….man, what would a guy do if he seen that running through the woods? Oh, probably shoot or sling an arrow.
travis_eckman Trempealeau County, WIPosts: 424 January 8, 2009 at 6:38 pm #46363 Thanks Brad…now I’ve got buck fever all over again! September is so close, yet so far away! That rack makes the deer look like a 2 1/2 year old…it has a long snout, but the body looks small to average from that angle and with that monstrous rack!

illiniwalli WC IllinoisPosts: 878 January 9, 2009 at 4:10 pm #46404 saw pix of this buck on another site. a couple of bird hunters found it in a crp field and coyotes had already ate too much of it to find any arrow or slug wound. the landowner’s nephew – the guy in the first pic – had trail cam pix of it last year, too, but had never seen it while hunting. apparently, more info is coming on the monster.
