Mike Pearson (Dartman) sells an excellent ground blind for a reasonable price. It called Covert Ground Blind He just redesigned it with an even better camo pattern – Check it out!

i bought a Ground Max 2 years ago, it’s great, lots of windows, comes with a bag with shoulder straps, fairly lightweight for carrying. it was on sale for $79, I think they are $119 normally. Get one that’s big enough to move around in, bring a cooler, stool, etc etc., those little one man jobs are not a good value, and you will regret it first day you hunt in it.I would stay away from the Ameristep line (crappy zippers) has been my experience.

Ameristep Dominator. I have had it for a couple years now. One of the few blinds with enough height to stand up and I am not tall at around 5’11”. My son and I always use it together so it fits two good size people. The Double Bulls seem to have better stitching and zippers but they are too short for me. I need to stand up straight after a while.

Way cool! That Covert Blind with the angles makes shadows which further enhance its invisibility. Was that the plan? If so, great idea!!

    Mike that blind looks great!
What do you like for chairs for your blinds? I have struggled trying to find the right chair for blind hunting.

I picked up a couple of seats from Bass Pro Shops last year that don’t have the back on them, but they swiveled. Only problem was my back started to bother me after a couple of hours of sitting. My folding chair works nice too since there is plenty of room in there for it. That’s only if you put the blind and chair out ahead of time!

I really like the double bull folding chairs. They’re lightweight, portable and comfortable. A little spendy (I bought mine on sale for $30) but worth the $.

A Double Bull seat in a Covert Blind! The seat I have that swivels looks like that without the back. I think I may have to get one though! Thanks Brad!

I got one that looks just like the double bull at Menards for around $15

I leave two seats in my blind, the folding chair and a bucket with a swivel seat that I can swith back and forth with if my back get tired or I have an extra if I bring my daughter along.

Ive done the cheap Menards seats…they last a yr if your lucky with my big hind end.It was no fun having it collapse opening day. I believe the double bull chair is a bit taller and bigger, but I have yet to see one in person. I really need something that has a backrest and is tall enough.

Maybe Mr Dartman needs to design & market a well made, comfortable, swiveling chair with a back and is portable?

I love the Double Bull blinds, but their seats are not that good. I had 2 of them and they both fell apart I am not trying to bash them, just speaking from my experience. The problem I had was the part that holds the corners on would rip out. Sure wakes you up when you are sitting all comfortable and the next thing you know you are on the ground
But, they are the perfect height for the blind

I do like the looks of the Covert Blinds. Appears to be plenty of room and somewhat of the same design as a DB

I just use a camping folding car and adjust the DB windows to the right level, works out that the shooting sticks are the same height… Pays to be a short guy once in a while

I guess a guy could haul a lazy boy out there with a swivle base on it the only problem then would be that I would be falling asleep all the time.
