What tricks do you use to stay warm in a stand?

    Check out the guy selling Mickey Mouse boots at the Ice Fishing Show. He also sells military super heavy weight black polypropylene long johns ~$15 each. They really rock for hunting and ice fishing. They wick and dry very fast and keep you nice and toasty.

    I also like the fleece gator for neck/ears and if needed a hand warmer on the back of the neck…toasty.

    The killer for me this year was the constant 20MPH winds in the face. I hate covering my ears but had to a few times. You sure couldn’t hear anything anyway. Nothing like a good case of windburn everyday!

    Great info and tips here! The only thing I would add is that I envision a trophy buck making my way towards my stand! I do this over and over and over playing out different scenarios. That usually keeps me focused on the hunt and makes me a little bit warmer on that stand!
