What is your first choice for scent when the rut is in full swing to bring those big guys in? I have been using golder estrus for the last 5 years and it seems to do the trick just woundering if their is anything better out their. Like that new spray by ticks that you spray on rubs?

No scent here. Just try to sit where I feel they will walk by.

I have luck with Tinks 69. Yesterday had a spiker come by… would have he without the scent ??? I will never know. I have used many over the years and although not scientific, I feel I have had the best results with the 69, I know it doesn’t spook them.

I am not usually a fan of scents, but when I am sure they are rutting like last weekend I like Tinks 69. It was the last thing my buck smelled before a 1 ounce Barnes expander took the breath out of his lungs.

Try these guys. http://www.northernwhitetail.com They have their own deer farm so the scent you get is fresh and they ship it out Priority Mail the same day they get it from the deer. If you want to use scent this time of year try the Doe Heat. If you want to save some money get some friends to buy it with you and buy larger quantities. Tell Pati that Kevin Brantner sent you. She’ll make sure you are well taken care of…

I use the Golden Estrus scent, I am still not convinced that it works but I sure use it every hunting season

grab a “doe in estrous” Buck Bomb, as Larry Weishun says: “as long as there’s doe pee in aerosol cans, I’ll keep using it, cause it works.”

I used Code Blue, Doe Esterous for the frist time last weekend bow hunting in WI. I poured some on an atv trail and climed a tree 10 yards away, 20 minutes later I had a spike running down the trail, nose to the ground and grunting, he got to the sent and stoped on a dime. I now have a full freezer! (Mind over Matter) If you don’t mind, it don’t matter.
