new hunting spot update

    HERE IS A BETTER PIC THE CREEK RUNS ON THE LEFT SIDE AND IS FAIRLY OPEN. THE BLUE LINE IS ABOUT THE PROPERTY LINE FROM WHAT THE FARMER TOLD ME. I WILL BE USING MY CLIMBER BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO GO MAKING ALL KINDS OF NOISE HAINGING STANDS THIS LATE IN THE YEAR. IT IS NEXT TO MILES OF LAND THAT ANOTHER GUY OWNS THAT IS A BIG GAME FARM THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY ALOT OF MONEY TO HUNT ON. ANYWAYS THANKS ALOT FOR THE HELP ANY MORE TIPS WILL BE APPRECIATED.

    Here are two spots I would check out provided you can get easy access to them and taking into account the property lines.

    That one “x” that scott has marked on the right is probably going to be the best spot for all around pre-rut, rut and post-rut. This is an absolute beautiful spot IMO!! Possibly there are bedding areas on both blocks of woods. This will be a great spot for a cruising buck in the morning I would hunt this spot all day come in the next 2-3 weeks!

    Anywhere wheres there water thats the low lying area they walk alot. The right X looks like a good spot but both of them do. Anywhere where its a short walk from water to where they usually feed would be good, looks like a good timber. Have you walked it yet, looked for rubs from last year, more then likely they will rub the same areas. Look for any old licking branches from last year on low hanging limbs, you will see the broken branches that haven’t fallen yet. Any of the inside turns ought to have scrapes on those edges.
