The Pre rut is on ,bucks are working the ground and trees fairly early around 6:30 am. though I went out today and didnt see a thing, which was expected with a 25 mph wind, but I cant get a Monster Buck on the couch.Well just wanted to let everyone know that the time to be hunting the rub lines is now,but only if the wind is blowing in the right direction.Watch for big bucks in the afternoon to be out in the middle of the fields, try to find out how they are getting there and cut them off the following afternoon.

That’s a Monster Buck in your picture, what are some of the details about that Big Boy?

Welcome to the site Wild1 you’ll like it here, lots of guys here talk bow hunting for deer. Are the bucks bedding down on weeded wooded fencelines out in the middle of those open fields down your way?

It’s definitely that time of year when work gets in the way of a lot of things, I’d rather be doing. Good Luck
