The deer were on the move big time Sunday morning. Saturday evening was kind of a bust but the deer were moving all morning Sunday. All young bucks but lots of activity….and wind!!

Went out with my brother until 9:30 and didn’t see a tail! Of course I had to face into the wind! But those are the days we love to hunt in….cold, wind, spitting snow or rain! The deer most general move on those days during the rut!

Same here. We were greeted with 50 mph winds as it was just getting light out, I looked at her and said we had to move. So we went and sat on the ground at the bottom of the ridge where we were. Stlll seen nothing but was a lot warmer. Watched the dark clouds rolling in and the next thing we knew we were in a whiteout blizzard.

Same here I thought Saturday night would be good but itwas a bust for us like Scott said.

I was colder in the morning that in the afternoon for some reason. It seems that when it’s snowing I actually feel warmer?

Anyway, think about stalking when it’s windy. There was certainly enough wind for it on Sunday.

We seen lots of does and fawns both Saturday and Sunday night. Deer weer moving from about 4:00pm till dark both nights.
