Let’s see some, we have photos of our harvests, lets see why we set up there, and why the deer would come in. These are both from the same stand, to the north we had a mineral lick (1st photo) and to the south we have a nice little food plot (2nd photo). On the east side about 100-120 yards away is the santuary and to the east about 35 yards away is a big corn field.

Here’s a view from mine, approx 20 miles east of mille lacs. This is looking west, lots of clover in the field. If you look close, you can see the trail across the field. What you can’t see is the trail leads to the NE and ends in a thick swamp. Nice location, but only saw 2 this past weekend. I only hunted till 9 and then from 4 till dark, as we were working making firewood, clearing trails etc.

Here is a shot from the stand that I shot my buck out of last year. I moved to this spot because of how windy it was that day, I knew if I was going to see anything moving that day it would be a spot like this where deer would be protected from the wind. My hunch paid off.

This is from my favorite bow stand over looking a trail through the cattails from one island to the next. It’s a blast watching and listening to the deer frolic through the marsh then stepping out onto the island with there briskets and legs caked in mud. It’s amazing how much deer like the water.

One of my stands is in the background of this photo. Kinda cool picture if you ask me. Too bad the stand was empty, lol.

very cool pic riveratt! tough to tell but looks like the deer with it’s head down is a buck too.

All three are bucks. I have the series on my SD card and at one point there are 5 bucks in it! There are two shooters under it too on another date, again the stand is empty.

Here is a shot from another tree stand I took on my phone last night. First time in that stand, not happy with the set up at all. Cool picture though.
