    Be careful if you are hitting Owasso even later in the winter. The bay in front of the access usually isnt bad, but ice conditions will vary if you head across the lake. I have seen ice out there vary from 15″ near the access to 4″ or less on the opposite side of the lake.

    I have heard there are springs in that lake that create thin ice in random areas. Smart to be cautious out there.

    I was hoping to get a nice pic this year, but had to work the night shift right after I got off stand. I worked the night shift and found it the next morning. I didn’t want to change back into my gear.
