i went to a uniques place last night called Lindey’s in Arden Hills. no fluff. basic salad, garlic bread, potatoes and sirloin. the steak were massive and good.
One note on Chaser’s, the food is so good they only serve on weekends. The chicken is excellent and the wait can be pretty long…
That would have been at the ‘Cattleman’s Resturant’ off I-80 West side of Kearney, Nebraska. Better eat first, then go to Cabela’s. Great food ain’t cheap.

Fogo de chao this place looks fun to try, anyone who has been here have a price range for this place, thier web site doesnt included the prices and i dont want to faint in front of my gf when i get the bill
I think they have two different prices, all you can eat salad and all you can eat steak. I don’t know about the salad bar , but for steak I think it was around $40 per person.
Smokeys here in Madtown makes a great steak. Chain stores are not where I would go for a steak.
Intersection of hwy 70 and 63 in Spooner, Wi. Butcher shop. Can’t remember the name. Buy a strip or ribeye, grill at home, freak out.

I went to one down in Atlanta…most amazing meal you could ask for. All you can eat steak, smoked king salmon, and every side you can think of. I think it was $57 dollars / person without drink or tip. WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Probably a little more now. I am very happy with them opening a restaurant in MPLS!!! I will be going very soon!!! Others…Mannys…always a pleasure, Mancini’s…great steak and the garlic bread cooked on the grill…ooohhh , and always enjoy the Freighthouse in La Crosse
Ted
to help pass the time in a treestand im a yahtzee (sp) solitaire or texas hold em guy with the occasional rub line small book for extra long sits during the rut hopefully the deer keep you occupied so time flies sweating your off doesnt count
I try and just relax and become almost half asleep and relax the muscles…or if I’m too full of energy then I txt haha
Deer hunting i just sit and relax. i dont bring anything with me that i dont need, not even a watch. its my time to relax and reflect.
bear hunting i try to do the same but if i dont keep somewhat active doing something i end up sleeping. so a book does good most of the time otherwise ive got a small texas hold em game
And defiantly no texting never had it never will don’t want it don’t need it.
After spending 5 days during the week at work…I don’t need anything to help me pass the time in the woods. Just being out there is good enough for me.
I sit and listen. Then mostly think about past hunts with my dad. Then try to think of a way to save enough money and convice the wife that I need to go on a Caribou hunt in Alaska, and take my dad with me.
Then if I get really bored I think of where I will burry the litte dirt bags that will try to date my daughters.
Hunting season is my therapy. I sit, relax, and think about everything that’s going on in my life, good and bad. It’s amazing what issues can be worked out in a deerstand when you have time alone in nature.
