I went out tuesday evening for my first bowhunt of this year and an hour and a half later i had my pb buck down. He snuck in quite when i first seen him he was ten yards away in one of the shooting lanes then he walked into the next lane and i took him with a lung shot and he went about 60 yards and dropped.

Congrats Craighaz on a beautiful buck! The only problem with that hunt is that he didn’t even give you a chance to get buck fever! Nice shot!

Thanks everyone in one way i would of liked to hunt the rut but now it looks like alot of fall walleye fishing for me. I figure on trying for some does in october when theres cooler weather unlike this week. its not right to be sweating while trying to gut a deer.

Congrats on your Personal Best buck he is a dandy!
Now you can set the bar higher for next year. Good luck in taking down some does for the rest of the year.

    Congrats on a PB!!

Gotta love the short hunts. 3 yrs back i was out for 12 mins and didn’t even make it to the Stand when i caught movement, stepped next to a tree and shot a Dandy 9 pt at 12 yds. it was 9/19/05 and i will never forget it.

What a hunt!!! Congrats on a very nice buck!!! Don’t tell my wife how fast you got him or she’ll be wondering what I do all fall and winter. Can’t have her figure out I go to the woods to take naps
