I did see an ad for womens carhartt in our local Farm and Fleet store here. Im guessing most anyplace that carrys carhartt would now be carrying the womens line also.

Farm and Fleet or Fleet Farm usually has an excellent selection of Carhart clothing

We saw a nice women’s selection at Dick’s Sporting Goods Store and some nice jackets and sweatshirts at Fleet Farm as well. I believe I saw Cabelas also sells them in their clothing catalog.

Peterson’s mill in North Branch carries Carhartt. Can’t say if they have womens but if you north of the cities a place to check.

I took a quick look at carhartt and didn’t see any womens clothes with fur? Take a look.

my girlfriend says she wants a carhartt coat for xmas…said she saw somebody with one with a hood that had fur on it or something. Anybody know of any places that have a good selection of womens carhartt coats or possibly one with a fur hood? thanks haha

Kaplan Brothers has a great selection of Carhart and other winter wear. There is one in Minneapolis and one in Brooklyn Park. If you are up in the cities, check ’em out. I have a hood for my coat (no fur) and I really like it when the wind is blowing hard.

My rubber boots went bad after 3 yrs of use and i am looking at Lacrosse’s New Alpha II Neoprene 3.5 & 5.0. With that said i also looked at a few different brands that are 800-1200 Thinsulate….

    Does anyone know:
What is the 3.5 Neoprene equivalent to in Thinsulate?
What is the 5.0 Neoprene equivalent to in Thinsulate?

I don’t want my feet to get over heated before sitting in the stand in early season but, i still want warmth for the Cold November sits.

I don’t think i’m asking too much since my old boots worked great at 800 Thinsulate.

un insulated alpha burly’s are the cats meow. Light weight socks this time of year, a heavier sock later in the year and two pairs of heavy socks in colder stuff, they wont do realy good below 40 degree’s in snow for keeping your feet warm on stand but there nice till about mid november

i dont like the neopreme ones

i don’t know if this will answer your question or not. The 3.0 is millimeters in thickness and the 5.0 is millimeters in thickness. The 3.0 has 800 grams of thinsulate and the 5.0 has 1200 grams of thinsulate. I have a pair of 1200 gram insulated boots that work great right now w/ just a pair of socks and work well w/ wool socks in november

I know it means the wall thickness but I have a pair of chest waders that are 4mm and plenty warm, I would think 3mm for early fall and into fall, if you planning on wearing them later in the year I would go with the 5mm as they breath fairly well.
