Well we finally got some nice weather in central Mn. so my favorite girls and I decided to do some snow shoein and look for some sheds…I was supperise on the amount of snow in the swamps and woods..We were able to see a bunch of turkey and pheasant but I would assume because Timber was with the deer heard her comin a mile away and located no deer…It was a great Sunday morning to be in the woods with the frost on the trees and warm temps..thought Id share a couple pics…Jay

Good to see you got out I was driving back from Mille Lacs, and that was some thick fog in spots. Makes it real pretty though

At least you were enjoying the great outdoors. What is your stradegy when looking for sheds? do you follow main trails, or just do random searches.

I start with trails or bedding areas, but I mostly try to focus on areas that deer are actively still feeding and concentrate on those sites. Good Luck Searchin!
